North Melbourne Apartments

Tucked up a narrow lane behind the Errol Street café strip, this funky development converts a 1930s brick warehouse into 5 two bedroom townhouses. Each dwelling has ground floor entry and garage, first floor bedrooms and bathroom, second floor living, dining and kitchen, rooftop deck with 360 degree views.

This site had difficult access, limited north aspect, multiple easements and town planning constraints. A challenge indeed!

The finished project has proven an astute investment.

Materials: corrugated steel, compressed fibre cement

Other features: double glazing, underground water tanks connected to toilets and irrigation, solar hot water, sunlizard solar heating, LED lighting.
