Abbotsford Terrace

This project centralizes the bathroom, relocates the kitchen and provides a new living room and first floor bedroom.

The western orientation is shaded by a grapevine grown over an extensive pergola, providing dappled shade in summer and warming afternoon winter sun.

Materials: corrugated steel

Sustainable features: thermal mass, gas heating and hot water, natural cross ventilation including stairwell ‘thermal chimney’.
